With Dr. Amy Walker at the helm, our compassionate and experienced team brings top-quality veterinary care right to your doorstep. We’re excited to help you keep your furry family members healthy and happy all year round! We provide expert advice on nutrition, exercise, and overall wellness, always treating your pets with the love and care they deserve—whether they’re staying for a check-up, procedure, or surgery.
Dr. Walker has a unique background, having worked for many years in human healthcare as a certified clinical perfusionist and instructor, first at Duke University and later at Shadyside School of Cardiovascular Perfusion at St. Francis Hospital. Her experience there inspired her to bring her skills into a field where the focus is truly on the patient—veterinary medicine!
Dr. Walker earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University, spending her senior year at the University of Illinois. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from Carlow College in Pittsburgh, PA, along with a certification in perfusion technology. Since graduating from vet school in 2003 (starting this business in 2010), she’s been making house calls to provide the best possible care for pets right at home.
To keep our patients and clients at the forefront of care, Dr. Walker stays current on the latest medical advancements. She works with a network of dedicated specialists to bring you up-to-date options, so together with you, we can make the best decisions for your furry family members.
